Nothing too exciting this week. I jumped up my mileage and put in back to back long runs on the weekend in preparation for Zion 100K as it draws ever so slightly closer. I also increased my elevation gain work and reached a new lifetime best in that category. This next week will be a little lighter on mileage and elevation gain as I run the Trail Racing Over Texas San Felipe Shootout and begin to reel my training in over the next two weeks to taper.

3/16:

  • Morning Jog: 4.1 Miles / :34 / 53 Feet Elevation Gain.
  • Treadmill Work: 2.0 Miles / :34 / 1584 Feet Gain
  • Easy Run: 4.0 Miles / :33 / 84 Feet Gain

3/17:

  • Cutdown Workout: 10.1 Miles / 1:09 / 228 Feet Elevation Gain
  • Easy Run: 4.0 Miles / :33 / 85 Feet Gain

3/18:

  • Morning Jog: 4.1 Miles / :33 / 46 Feet Gain
  • Treadmill Work: 2.0 Miles / :34 / 1584 Feet Gain
  • Easy Run & Stairs: 3.0 Miles / :26 / 301 Feet Gain

3/19:

  • Mini Treadmill Workout: 4.0 Miles / :31 / 553 Feet Gain
  • After Work Run: 8.0 Miles / 1:05 / 169 Feet Gain

3/20:

  • Treadmill Work: 2.0 Miles / :23 / 1054 Feet Gain
  • Work Commute: 2.4 Miles / :20 / 45 Feet Gain
  • Work Run: 4.0 Miles / :35 / 83 Feet Gain

3/21:

  • Easy Effort Long Run: 20.0 Miles / 2:53 / 42 Feet Gain
  • PM Stair Repeats: 2.1 Miles / :20 / 250 Feet Gain

3/22:

  • Up Tempo Effort Long Run: 20.1 Miles / 2:34 / 478 Feet Gain

Total Miles: 96.3

Total Time: 13:40

Total Gain: 6,640 (Possibly a lifetime record)
